New students named to James L. Petigru Inn of Court

Charleston School of Law and the James L. Petigru Inn of Court have announced the new members joining the Court for the 2026-2027 year.

The 3L Charleston Law students include Alison Kurpe, Molly Frey, Melanie Tobon-Zuleta, Caroline Strader, Annahy Salas, Fabienne Johnson, Abigail Searles, Addi Lyle, Norberto Ortiz Colon, Imani Capers, and Asanka White.

The Petigru Inn comprises judges, lawyers, and law students from the Charleston area and meets in Charleston six times each academic year. Each year, approximately twelve students from Charleston School of Law are invited into membership based on their demonstrated leadership, professionalism, public service, and academic commitment.

All state and federal judges are invited to participate in the Petigru Inn, and the remainder of the membership is composed of a diverse group of lawyers.

The Petigru Inn of Court aims to foster collegiality among practicing lawyers and judges and to educate our law student members about the legal profession.
