President J. Edward Bell III

South Carolina native J. Edward Bell III, founder and senior partner of Bell Legal Group, is an attorney and businessman who serves as president and managing partner of the Charleston School of Law.

Board of Directors

Charleston School of Law President Ed Bell (founder and senior partner, Bell Legal Group), The Honorable Robert S. Carr (retired U.S. Magistrate Judge), and The Honorable George C. Kosko (retired U.S. Magistrate Judge) serve on the Board of Directors for the law school.

Board of Advisors

The Charleston School of Law Board of Advisors includes founders of the school and some of South Carolina’s most prominent judges, lawyers and scholars. Members share a commitment to establishing a student-oriented law school premised upon ideals of service to the community, professionalism and excellence in legal education.

Dean Larry Cunningham

Larry Cunningham became the Dean of Charleston School of Law in June 2020, bringing a national reputation in legal education, assessment, and student learning to the position. As Dean, he serves as the chief academic and executive officer of the school, leading the academic, student support, and operational units of the Law School with the singular goal of promoting student success.
