Interim President Hal Cobb is the Senior Partner at Cobb Hammett & Andrews, LLC in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, where he has been a leading force in corporate, commercial, banking, real estate, and transactional law since 2012. Before founding Cobb Hammett & Andrews, LLC, President Cobb held senior roles in the banking industry, serving as in-house counsel and leading loss mitigation, where he managed over $100M in troubled assets, oversaw foreclosures and settlements, and developed risk management strategies that greatly reduced the bank’s debt portfolio.
Cobb earned his Accounting Degree from The Citadel in 1992, followed by an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of South Carolina. He then earned a graduate degree in banking from Louisiana State University and went on to earn his J.D. from the Charleston School of Law in 2012.
Outside of his practice, President Cobb provides pro bono representation for civil defendants and volunteers for various non-profit organizations in the Lowcountry, which includes serving as Chairman of the Board for Tri-County S.P.E.A.K.S.
While he has a long list of accomplishments from over the course of his legal and banking career, he is most proud of being a father to his three incredible sons, Tyler, Alex and Theo.
