Charleston Law hosts Court-Martial Challenge

Charleston School of Law hosted the second annual Charleston Court-Martial Challenge in collaboration with the United States Coast Guard. Over 30 JAG Officers from every branch of the U.S. Military came to judge the competition. We ran four preliminary rounds between Friday and Saturday and then cut to the semi-finals and Finals on Sunday afternoon.

The rounds resulted in an evenly split tally between the Government and the Defense, with 29 ballots for the Government and 28 for the Defense. In the end, the Government broke the ballot tie with the University of South Carolina’s win for the Government over Baylor’s defense team in the final round.
