Charleston Law celebrates National Law Day of Action

Charleston School of Law attended the National Law Day of Action in South Carolina last week. The event was held at the Matthew J. Perry Courthouse in Columbia, and lawmakers from across the state attended.

The theme for the 2026 National Law Day of Action was “The Rule of Law and the American Dream.” Attorneys, law students, judges, and the public linked arms as a legal community and recommitted to the Lawyer’s Oath.

From the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court to courthouses, plazas, and bar association halls in more than 66 cities across 26 states, more than 3,000 lawyers, judges, law students, and legal advocates publicly reaffirmed our oath to the Constitution.
