Charleston School of Law has promoted Jean Steadman to Professor of Law, effective August 1.

Charleston Law hosted its annual Spring Commencement ceremony on Saturday at the McAlister Fieldhouse on The Citadel campus.

Charleston Law Professor Constance Anastopoulo has been conferred the status of Professor Emerita, effective August 1, 2026.

Charleston School of Law Professor of Law Nancy Zisk will retire, effective August 1, 2026. 

The selection committee of the National Association of Legal Advocacy Educators (NALAE) has selected Charleston School of Law student Sydney Harris as an “Academic All-American Trial Advocate."
