In our latest student profile, Charleston Law 2L Haley Baker shares her journey to law school. Baker, a 2L and Moncks Corner native, remembers the first time she experienced what a lawyer does.
“When my Dad legally adopted my brother in elementary school, it was really through that experience that I go to see the powerful role that attorney’s play in people’s lives” she said. “To be an advocate, to be a leader and to be a problem solver. I would say that’s where my passion was ingnited.”
Charleston School of Law and the South Carolina Bar will host a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) event on Friday, September 19 in Room 223 at 8:30 a.m.
Charleston School of Law will be in attendance at the Fall 2025 LSAC Forum in Miami. The event will be held from 10am-4pm at the Hyatt Regency in Miami.
Charleston Law is committed to nurturing the well-being and success of our students. Lawyers Helping Lawyers clinician Briana Suhr will be on campus each Tuesday from 10am–4pm.
