In our latest student profile, Charleston Law 2L Haley Baker shares her journey to law school. Baker, a 2L and Moncks Corner native, remembers the first time she experienced what a lawyer does.
“When my Dad legally adopted my brother in elementary school, it was really through that experience that I go to see the powerful role that attorney’s play in people’s lives” she said. “To be an advocate, to be a leader and to be a problem solver. I would say that’s where my passion was ingnited.”
Charleston School of Law Dean Dylan O. Malagrinò will be a guest speaker at the 2026 S.C. Bar Convention annual seminar to be held in Savannah, Georgia from January 22−24, 2026.
Charleston School of Law will be on the road again this Spring. Our next stop will be at the Auburn University Law School Fair on Wednesday, January 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CST).
