17th Annual Law & Society Symposium Announced

Charleston School of Law along with partners at the Riley Institute at Furman University will host the 17th annual Law & Society Symposium on Friday, February 21.

Charleston Law celebrates new graduates at Winter Commencement

The Charleston School of Law held its Winter 2024 Commencement ceremony at the Charleston Museum Auditorium. The Law School celebrated 29 students for completing their juris doctor degree.

Charleston Law students selected for USCG JAG

Charleston School of Law students Sarah Cooper, Breanna Moore, and Simisola Ojo have been named primary selectees for commissioning as Lieutenants in the United States Coast Guard JAG program. In addition, Tiffany Maggiore was selected as an alternate.

Hinton awarded prestigious Carlos F. Salinas Scholarship

The Scholarship is an annual award named in honor Carlos F. Salinas, a founding member of the Círculo and Honorary Consul of Chile.  Salinas was a professor in the field of pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina.

Law School mourns the loss of founding Dean

The Charleston School of Law mourns the loss of Dean Richard Gershon, who passed away on Monday. He was 67.
