Assistant Director of Career Services

Gina Horseman serves as the Assistant Director of Career Services at Charleston School of Law.

Bio

Gina Horseman joined Charleston School of Law in August of 2026 as the Assistant Director of Career Services.

Prior to joining Charleston Law, Horseman was in private practice in the Charleston office of Gallivan White Boyd, where she represented Fortune 100 companies and other corporate and individual clients in complex litigation matters, including contractual disputes, rideshare liability, and high-exposure personal injury and wrongful death. Her prior experience further includes practicing at a boutique business litigation and insurance defense firm and the Charleston office of an Am Law 100 firm. She also has extensive experience defending public and private universities against tuition refund class actions and managing complex e-discovery processes in large-scale litigation.

Horseman earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law (2011), graduating with honors and a Certificate in Environmental and Land Use Law. While in law school, Horseman served as a Research Assistant, the Article and Notes Editor for the Journal of Transnational Law and Policy, and Vice President of the Terrell Chapter of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, International. She also externed for the Chief Administrative Law Judge of the Southern District at the State of Florida Division of Administrative Hearings and participated in the summer study abroad program at the University of Oxford.

Horseman earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in American Studies, with a secondary degree in Environmental Science, cum laude, from Stetson University (2008), where she was named a Presidential Scholar and served as captain for the Division 1 Women’s Volleyball team and NCAA Student-Athlete Leadership Forum Conference Representative.

Committed to service beyond her practice, Horseman was named to the South Carolina Supreme Court Pro Bono Honor Roll (2020-2023) for her work representing clients in eviction proceedings and advocating for incarcerated persons before the South Carolina Board of Paroles and Pardons. Currently, Horseman is a member of the South Carolina Bar, Illinois Bar, Charleston County Bar Association, and South Carolina Women Lawyers Association.
