The Charleston School of Law provides a variety of experiential opportunities to learn and practice the law. In addition to externships, internships and student organizations, the Law School is co-sponsoring two summer study abroad programs with Stetson University College of Law.
This summer the two Law Schools will offer opportunities to travel to Madrid, Spain (June 1-27) and The Hague, Netherlands (June 29-July 25).
All students will be enrolled in four separate one-credit hour courses that focus on comparative and international law issues. Madrid contains some of Spain’s historical archives, national museums, and the Golden Triangle of Art, located along the Paseo del Prado and comprising three art museums.
Get a front-row seat for the study of international courts and tribunals through study abroad in The Hague, Netherlands. The Hague is recognized globally as a center for international institutions and tribunals and is one of two capitals in the Netherlands.
Charleston School of Law who are interested in one of our Summer 2025 Study Abroad opportunities, please review the Law School’s Academic Policy on Earning Course Credit Outside the Law School.
Once a student has identified a program, that student should file a Request for Permission to Take Courses at an ABA—Approved Law School, found at the bottom of the Earning Course Credit Outside the Law School webpage.
