Professionalism Series celebrates Constitution Day

The Charleston School of Law will host a special Professional Series event on Constitution Day at 12:00 p.m. at the Charleston Museum Auditorium.

The theme of today’s discussion is “Litigating the Constitution” and will feature a panel discussion between three distinguished practitioners who specialize in litigation involving Constitutional issues.  The panel will be moderated by Charleston Law Professor William Merkel.

Today’s panel guests include:

  • R. Walker Humphrey II, Esq. (’10): shareholder at Willoughby, Humphrey, & D’Antoni, P.A.
  • Robin Jackson, Esq.: attorney at Senn Legal LLC
  • Christopher Mills, Esq.: founder of Spero Law LLC

Constitution Day and Citizenship Day commemorate the Constitution’s signing and recognize all who, by coming of age or by naturalization, have become citizens. By law, “the civil and educational authorities of States, counties, cities, and towns are urged to make plans for proper observance of Constitution Day and Citizenship Day and for the complete instruction of citizens in their responsibilities and opportunities as citizens of the United States and of the State and locality in which they reside.”
