Student Opportunities

Through the Center for Business and Transactional Law interested students benefit from opportunities to collaborate and compete based on real-world experiences and diverse extracurricular activities that enrich the law school experience.

The Center for Business and Transactional Law offers year-round opportunities for students to practice their transactional skills through boot camps, informal training sessions, internal competitions and participation in national competitions.

The Center for Business and Transactional Law is also committed to providing law students with access to modern and cutting-edge library resources and databases for learning and practicing transactional skills. The Center for Business and Transactional Law liaises with the Charleston School of Law library staff to provide specialized transactional law training sessions.

The Center for Business and Transactional Law includes the Transactional Law Team which is an advocacy program for students to hone their transactional law negotiating and drafting skills by focusing on practical skills opportunities and national competitions.
