Welcome Class of 2017

The regional chapters of the Alumni Association are planning to host a monthly gathering on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The first gatherings took place on Wednesday, Oct. 14. Additional details regarding location will follow.
Alumnus elected to South Carolina Bar House of Delegates
Jonathan Lounsberry ’09 was recently elected to the South Carolina Bar House of Delegates to fill a vacancy in the 7th Judicial Circuit. The South Carolina Bar House of Delegates establishes policy for the Bar. It meets at least twice a year and is composed of the following: delegates from each judicial circuit; 2 at-large delegates, 2 delegates from out of state; delegates from 18 Bar Sections; all past presidents of the Bar; the Deans of USC Law and the Charleston School of Law; delegates from the Young Lawyers Division and the Senior Lawyers Division; and the Bar’s Board of Governors.
