Charleston School of Law office will be closed on Thursday, June 19 in recognition of Juneteenth (Freedom Day). The day commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. It is celebrated on June 19th each year, marking the date in 1865 when enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom.
