The Charleston School of Law provides a variety of experiential opportunities to learn and practice the law. In addition to externships, internships and student organizations, the Law School is co-sponsoring two summer study abroad programs with Stetson University College of Law.
The Charleston School of Law held its Winter 2024 Commencement ceremony at the Charleston Museum Auditorium. The Law School celebrated 29 students for completing their juris doctor degree.
Charleston School of Law students Sarah Cooper, Breanna Moore, and Simisola Ojo have been named primary selectees for commissioning as Lieutenants in the United States Coast Guard JAG program. In addition, Tiffany Maggiore was selected as an alternate.
The Scholarship is an annual award named in honor Carlos F. Salinas, a founding member of the Círculo and Honorary Consul of Chile. Salinas was a professor in the field of pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina.
