Job Description
Staff attorneys provide a wide range of civil legal representation, advocacy, and outreach to low-income individuals. Though attorneys may occasionally work outside of their primary practice area, our civil litigation focuses on a broad range of matters, including housing, consumer, education, federal income tax, elder, employment, family, probate, public benefits, and migrant farmworker cases. No prior experience in all these areas is required. Attorneys typically focus their practice in a few areas and receive training and mentorship as needed.
We are advertising for Regular Staff Attorneys in the SCLS Charleston, Conway, Florence, and Orangeburg locations. The position will be open until filled.
