A note from Lisa:
Most estate planning attorneys didn’t choose this field to feel like they’re on a production line.
But somewhere along the way, for a lot of people, it starts to look like:
• back-to-back files with lots of follow-up
• constant drafting
• little time to actually connect with clients, and a schedule that quietly follows you home
If you’ve been practicing for a while, you probably know exactly what that feels like.
Our Bluffton, SC office is growing, and we’re adding a client-focused estate planning & elder law attorney (5+ years experience).
This role is intentionally structured for someone who:
• enjoys sitting across from clients and guiding decisions
• wants to build real, ongoing relationship; not just close matters
• is ready to spend less time in documents and more time in conversations designing the right path forward
• appreciates being part of a team that happily shares the load
You would be:
• leading consultations (12-15 per week on a set schedule)
• advising on trust-based planning strategies and long term care options
• helping guide families through probate administration when needed
• staying connected with clients as part of a long-term relationship model
And importantly, your work is supported by systems and team members who handle much of the backend execution.
A few things attorneys tend to notice quickly about this role:
• The pace is intentional. You can focus without feeling constantly rushed
• Your time outside the office is actually your own
• You’re not doing this alone. There’s real team support with an incredible administrative and paralegal team
• Your experience in working with clients is recognized and valued
We’re expanding in Bluffton, SC and serve a growing, engaged community. We’re also active locally, so if you enjoy being out in the community (not just behind a desk), that’s a plus.
South Carolina bar license and notary public required. Value-based compensation with a strong salary and benefits.
Starting salary - $80,000.00 per year
If you’ve ever thought, “there has to be a better way to practice than this,” don’t wait until this opportunity closes.
