The Charleston Law Links (CLL) Mentorship Program is a partnership between the Charleston School of Law and the Charleston County Bar Association that matches law students with local attorney mentors. Through the program, practicing attorneys talk with students about career decisions, professionalism, and life after law school.
CLL mentors help students set goals, plan their careers, network, and develop skills. Mentors also give students a more complete “real world” understanding of the ethical and professional standards that guide the legal profession. Ultimately, these mentors help students transition from the classroom to the legal profession by showing students how to leverage the skills they have learned in law school.
Attorneys who are interested in serving as a mentor should contact Emily Guerrero.
