Computation of Graduation Credits: Pass/Fail Credit

In computing the required number of credits for graduation, several limitations apply:  Of the required 90 credit hours, no more than 12 credits may be from pass/fail courses, absent written approval from the Chair of the Academic Standards Committee.

Of the 12 pass/fail credits:

a) no more than a total of 4 credits may be in credit from Charleston Law Review, Moot Court/Mock Trial, or Independent Study; and,

b) no more than a total of 8 credits may be in credit from Externship Courses.

The following courses are excluded from the pass/fail limits: Academic Skills (899), Legal Skills (7990), Bar Prep (999), and Presidential Scholars Seminar (852).
