Programs

Throughout the academic year, Career Services conducts many career-related presentations and panel discussions for students. Topics include writing resumes and cover letters, job search nuts and bolts, interviewing, the judicial clerkship process, and overviews of substantive legal practice areas. We welcome employers to participate in our programs.

Career Counseling

Career Services’ mission is to help students engage in a meaningful job search, to compete as professionals, and to help them make well-informed choices leading to long-term career satisfaction. Career Services staff members are available for individual counseling with students.

On-Campus Interviews

The department coordinates on-campus student interviews with employers in the public and private sectors in South Carolina and beyond. These on-campus interview programs are concentrated in the fall for second- and third-year students and in the spring for first-year students.
