Alumni in the News: Kison (’08) inducted as President of the Sarasota County Bar Association
Amanda R. Kison (’08) was inducted as the 76th president of the Sarasota County Bar Association.
“It is humbling to be recognized by my peers and I am eager to serve as president of the Sarasota County Bar Association,” said Kison in a media press statement. “I look forward to continuing to grow our organization as we advance professionalism, promote practice development, foster fellowship, and serve our community by providing access to legal services.”
In addition to serving as the president of the Sarasota County Bar Association, Kison is also a chair of the 12th Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee, serves on the executive council member of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section (RPPTL) of the Florida Bar as co-chair of the Real Property Litigation Committee and CLE Coordination Committee, and a board member of the REALTOR Attorney Joint Committee of the REALTOR Association of Sarasota and Manatee. She has also been selected by The Best Lawyers in America® as One to Watch.
Kison is an attorney and shareholder with the firm of Bentley Goodrich Kison in Sarasota, Florida. She is board certified in business litigation, identifying her as a lawyer with special knowledge, skills, and expertise in business litigation.
Kison earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Skidmore College (2002) and her Juris Doctor from Charleston School of Law (2008).
