Veteran communications strategist Andy Brack has been with the Charleston School of Law as a communications and public relations advisor since 2003, a year before the first class started at the school.
“We’re fortunate to have Andy on our team as the Charleston School of Law continues to grow and flourish,” President Ed Bell says. “Not only does he provide valuable insights into how we can tell our stories better, but he reaches out to communities across the region to broaden and strengthen relationships for the school.”
Brack, who holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a bachelor’s degree from Duke University, has served as a U.S. Senate press secretary in Washington, D.C. Currently, he also is publisher of three news journals, including Statehouse Report, a weekly policy and politics forecast.
Brack has a broad range of local, state and national community service, including serving as chair of the Charleston County Public Library Board of Trustees. In 2011, he was named a Champion of Change by the White House. Brack and his family live in Charleston.
