Orientation and Class Schedule

Orientation Sessions

For each CAP session, students are required to participate in online orientation sessions during the Thursday and Friday prior to the first day of classes.

The CAP orientation sessions will take place via GoToWebinar. Direct any questions regarding the online orientation course to Ms. Jacqueline Bell, Assistant Dean of Admission. She may be contacted by phone, 843.377.2143, or email, jbell@CharlestonLaw.edu.

Information regarding how to access GoToWebinar will be sent to you prior to orientation.

Orientation class times (Thursday and Friday prior to the first day of class):

10 a.m. – 12 noon (EST)

2 p.m. – 4 p.m. (EST)

Class Schedule

The two courses, Criminal Justice and Defamation in the Internet Age, will each meet for two hours a day with the first course in the morning and the second course in the afternoon. Classes will meet Monday through Friday for two weeks. There are generally no holidays in the CAP schedule, so you should expect to meet as scheduled unless your professor states differently in the class syllabus. There will be three reading days (Saturday – Monday) between the final class and the first exam. Attendance in all class sessions, discussion boards, quizzes, review sessions and exams is required. Please read the CAP Participation Policy.

Please note that we reserve the right to cancel any classes that do not have sufficient enrollment.
