Law School Preview Day

Law School Preview Day will be held 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 4 in Charleston at the Charleston School of Law an innovative way for area undergraduate students to learn more about law school, its benefits and how to apply. The event is co-sponsored by the Charlotte School of Law and the University of South Carolina School of Law.


"Our law school is excited to co-host this dialogue with the University of South Carolina School of Law and the Charlotte School of Law because we believe it important to showcase legal career options to minority and first-generation college students," said John L.S. Simpkins, an assistant professor of law who directs the Charleston School of Law's Office of Diversity Initiatives.

WHAT: An event designed to inform minorities and first-generation college students about:

(1) financial aid options available to law school applicants;
(2) the law school admissions process;
(3) how to prepare for law school classes;
(4) career options available to law school graduates, and much more!!

WHEN:

Saturday, Oct. 4, 2008, 9 a.m.

Charleston School of Law, Charleston, SC

COST:

Free.


Limited travel reimbursement is available for students in the Charlotte area. Limited hotel accommodations are available for out-of town participants.
