Other Options

Students may opt to search for street parking in adjacent neighborhoods, or negotiate with owners of private businesses or churches in the area who may have extra space to lease.  Charleston is a very walkable city and many may choose to bike to school.  Bike racks are available near every building at the law school.  If you bike, please be sure to lock you bike.  Public transportation via CARTA (Charleston Area Transportation Authority) is also an option.  CARTA has recently developed many express bus routes that end in the downtown area.  The law school is located next to a major bus stop/terminal.  For information no CARTA, please go to www.ridecarta.com.
