Graduates should arrive at 1 p.m. in order to get ready. A reception for all graduates and their guests will follow immediately after the ceremony.
School of Law regalia: tam, tassel, gown and hood are required to participate.
Honor cords and pro bono cords will also be distributed.
Under the robe you should wear comfortable clothing. You will want to be appropriately dressed for the reception once you remove your robe. Gentlemen should wear a tie.
What not to wear/bring: sunglasses, croakies, purses, cell phones or flip flops. There is not a secure location to leave these items if brought in.
GradImages will provide professional photography of each graduate as they cross the stage. Please complete an information card (during regalia pick-up) if you are interested in ordering photos.
Photographs will be posted online on the Charleston School of Law GradImages Page. Students will be provided a private password to access their individual images, or they may look them up by entering their last name and graduation year. Email notifications will be sent to each student when the photographs are available online, usually within 48 hours. Full color proof cards will be mailed to the student’s home address within one week following the ceremony. For additional information, visit the GradImages website.
