1/7/13: Spring Career Series begins Wednesday, Jan. 9

Every semester the Department of Career Services hosts a Career Series, which invites prominent attorneys to speak about different types of career paths available to an individual with a law degree.
This semester the series commences with Chief Deputy Attorney John McIntosh and Human Resources Manager Katie Elliott speaking about careers with the South Carolina Attorney General’s office. A total of five lectures will be held this semester ranging from topics such as “How to Get a Summer Job,” to “Careers in Technology Law” and “Getting a Grip on Your Student Loans.”
The Career Series is designed to help students learn more about different areas of the law and get practical advice from leading attorneys in these areas. Each series is held on a Wednesday in room 333 at 385 Meeting St. For more information, contact Michelle Condon, director of public service and pro bono.
