Three student organizations at the Charleston School of Law, Entertainment, Arts, Sports Law Society (EASL), Women in Law Society (WIL), and the Jewish Law Society (JLS), are collaborating to host the 2nd Annual Silent Ga”law” on Thursday, March 30. The event includes both a silent auction and fashion show.
The silent auction will consist of all locally donated items for patrons to bid on. The fashion show will then feature local amateur models donning clothes donated from local boutiques. The theme of this year’s fashion show is “Bond. James Bond.”
Last year’s Silent Ga”law” was a huge success, raising over $6,000, all of which was donated to One80 Place, a local homeless shelter. This year, the proceeds raised will go to the Mason Prep Foundation, a charity that was close to the heart of Professor Ginny Meeks, who recently lost her battle with cancer.
Please join us for a night of fun and to honor our beloved professor’s legacy.
The event begins at 7 p.m. at the Hyatt Place Hotel. Tickets are $10. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served, and there will be a cash bar available.
